life in and wildlife in Bulgaria
51Perfect peace
Can you imagine having your morning cuppa, listening to the sound of the woodpeckers drilling at the tree's ,instead of the workmen drilling at the pavements,or the tinkling of the sheep's bells when the shepherd comes to collect them, rather than the car behind you hooting cos their late for work and the traffic lights are holding them up. looking into the sky and seeing the storks flying back to their nest's,or the golden eagles swooping down to get their prey, this is what I love about Bulgaria,it's, I suppose, a little like going back in time ,once you get to the countryside there are very few cars, donkey's and carts is the way most of the locals get about, and the local's are so friendly and so welcoming, everybody knows everybody where they live, and if they don't know you they will come and introduce themselves,or give you a freindly nod. The language can be a barrier but you usally get there in the end, and I know of a great web site to learn the language so I am picking it up. My next hub will be about purchasing property in Bulgaria.
