The Love of a Pet

A pet's love can never be underestimated, This is a story about a truly brave and remarkable feline friend which I was blessed with. Her name was Bebe. Although, she is not with me anymore, she wil always live in my heart and memories.

Back in 1981, I was living in Loveland, Colorado. At the time, my husband and I had only been married for a year. Growing up in Nebraska, neither of us had ever lived away from home. Missing our families and without any friends except for each other, we decided we wanted to move back to Nebraska.

The company he went to work for agreed to pay all of our relocation expenses. At the time, we were living in a mobile home. Since it wasn't anymore expensive to move the mobile home than our belongings, they agreed to move the mobile home.

The day we were set to move, it was a typical March day, and the wind was too blustery to move the mobile home. Since my husband had to start his new job the next morning, and we had an 8 hour drive ahead of us, we left ahead of the movers.

Earlier that morning, our cat was meowing incessantly. Between a combination of being in heat and sensing something was wrong because of all the moving boxes, she woud not settle down. Accidently, she darted out the door when we went outside. Unfortunately, she made a quick get away, and even though we hunted high and low for her, we could not find her. Sadly we had to leave without her since we had no more time to spare.

She was the first cat I ever had and the best cat I ever had. She never got up on the countertops or table. She was very loving. And to think, she was already a year old when we got her. She belonged to a college student who had to move, and he needed to find a new home for her. Hence, our move was tinged with loss.

Because of March storms, it took the mobile home transporter over a week to move our mobile home across the gusty plans of Nebraska. The day it arrived at the new mobile home park, we were there to greet the movers. Although, I could hardly believe my eyes, what do you think I saw? My little, gray, tiger-striped cat ran out from underneath the home to us. We were so overjoyed!

We didn't know it, but there was a rip in the underbelly of the mobile home. Our poor cat had traveled underneath the mobile home for a week. Can you imagine how scarey that must have been for her with the howling wind and the sound of the tires rolling on the cement? The mover said every time he stayed at a new motel for the night, he would always see a tiger-striped cat. He never put it together that it was the same cat each time. To this day, I don't think I've ever had another pet that loved me that much.

Great cat! Clever they are, this cat to hide under the home, i was wondering when it was gonna come out, I'd never leave my pet for a year somewhere to move, it would have to come with.

Had a cat like that named was tiger, she was the hazardous and, came-out-like-roses type. A Mackerel Tabby is the way to go. This article should be way higher than a 63!!

Im voting it up now, LOL

Thank you, Don! Yes, she was remarkable. And you know what's strange? A few years after we moved back, she disappeared, and I never saw her again. I looked and looked for her, yet I never found her. I assume my husband took her since we were going through a divorce.

As for the hubscore, I hope you read this since you're new so you'll understand if you don't already. Although I am not sure about all the factors hubscores are based on, a big factor is traffic. When I wrote this, I was a newbie here. I didn't know anything about keyword research. So the keywords sucked for traffic. Thus, one of the reasons for the low hubscore.

I am so sorry. I truly do understand how you feel. We had to put our cat down yesterday. It is so hard to just watch them slowly slip away.
