What is so irresistible about theme parks that we humans just cannot seem to get enough of it. My home country India may not be proud of having many amusement parks; I can practically count just one in my entire city. Don’t get underestimated by the number the world has about 1000 of them all over and they are just the perfect getaways when it comes to the hot summers approaching in many countries.

Summer Time Equals Fun Time

If you are looking for an outdoor activity that helps you spend quality time you’re your friends and family then Amusement and theme parks have to be your choice. You can practically spend up to a day or an entire weekend depending on your holiday. Personally for me, budget plays a very crucial role along with the leave that I have been offered. A park that is built on a spacious area has everything for even the difficult to please kids as well.

It is a perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of every day life be it for grownups as well, kids seem to be the target audience for such family parks. Nevertheless the crowd seems to be adults who seek for an adrenalin kick for themselves in the form of rides and a make believe world. Had seen a show on discovery, well yeah I am a lot into discovery and travel and living. Ok enough of going off topic, that no two parks are designed the same, they indeed are ingenious and marvelous engineering work of mankind. You have to be filled with awe when it comes to the manpower and effort both in time and money that goes into making a huge park.

These parks have been around as the major forms of entertainment for years now and there exist some of the old and most preferred forms of rides. My grandpa always dug a roller coaster and you tend to see the improvised version with lights to please your eye even in the current years.

• Roller coasters are like the major embodiment of any park, if space is an issue you will have a smaller one. But the better the steep drops, sharp curves, and inversions the higher is the fun factor. Personally if you ask me, my partner is a major freak when it comes to theme rides. The screaming puts me off and I just love watching it from a distant, could never dare to climb one it gives me a jittery feeling.

• Train Rides: Aren’t they fun, when you are tired of walking the entire space you just want to sit in the train that takes you to the next destination. Not only is it relaxing it is reminiscent of olden times, the trolleys they used in the parks. However the current era has replaced them with modern trains. In jungfrauoch you will still find those trolleys that take you to the top of the mountain.

• Water rides, water slides, or anything where water is involved is a major plus in the scorching sun. I had a blast in the bumper boat which goes in the flow and takes you via slides bumping rocks.

This is an additional plus which is available depending on the place you have chosen, if your destination is Disney then you will have the best the world has to offer and take you into a fantasy world you will never want to come back from. There are parades, musical events, comics, cartoon characters who will entertain you in every corner you can find.

Entertaining games and goodies that can be won without spending a fortune, for as less as ten kroners we had a chance to win teddies and goodie bags as well.

Eating out: When you are out on a vacation like this then eating does not seem a hassle, you will find everything you need from coffee to the fish and fries right in the park.

Ok all in all this factors drive not only kids but also adults and they are just the perfect entertainment spots we are looking for. So just hop in any theme park, and you will surely have the time of your life.
