Two years ago, when I was still in College, I was using Google whenever I had to do some research. But I was taking for granted that time the things Google do aside from providing me the results I need.

Here are the things I didn't know before I was asked to write about Google products, 8 months ago.

Google tells time. 

All I have to do is type in: time in ___________. For example: time in new york city. Make sure though you are in Google.com, because sometimes, if you are using Google's country domain, it may not work.

Google converts currency.

This is one of the most convenient search feature. You just type in the amounth you want to be converted and to what currency. I heard though it isn't that reliable, so maybe just use this when you want to have a picture of how much you are getting in a different currency.

Google define word.

Type in define:_________ and the word you want to define. Make sure you have a colon after define and no space between colon and the word you want to see the meaning.

Google as a calculator.

If you don't have a calculator in handy, then just go to Google.com and let Google do the calculation for you.
