60Is Ibiza Safe For Families?
The short answer is yes, it is! It's also a great place to go if you want a family holiday, because there is a lot to see and do to keep the kids entertained.
Ibiza has had a bad reputation for a while now but it is starting to change that, and rightly so. If you are looking for a holiday in Ibiza though then it is very important to find great villas to rent in Ibiza to make your stay enjoyable.
To Do In Ibiza
When you hear of the island Ibiza it tends to conger up images of teenagers, clubbing, having fun and enjoying themselves. And it certainly is the place to do this with so much catered towards young people. However if you had ruled Ibiza off your list of places to see and explore because you’re not a clubber, think again.
Ibiza often known as ‘The White Isle’ or ‘The Magic Isle’ is one of the Balearic Islands in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. There are plenty of ways to get around and see the place. Tours are offered by train, by boat and even scooter! Just have a look at the area you are staying in when you have decided and see what they offer. Of course Ibiza is quite a small island so you’ll never be far from tourist areas.
Some of the things that are worth the trips for sight-seeing are the beaches and countryside if you are in the mood for a relaxing trip. If adventure is more your style then there are plenty of hidden areas in Ibiza, even underground caves used by smugglers! If you want a taste of Ibiza’s culture head on down to the old towns to discover its traditional markets which sell such crafts as handmade jewellery and unique clothing.
Of course being on an island is very handy if you enjoy water-sports as well. Ibiza provides a range of activities on the Mediterranean Sea such as banana boats, windsurfing, sailing, parasailing and pedalos. Amateur and professionals can also try their hand at diving around Ibiza’s tropical coastline. There are qualified diving schools dotted around the area which cater for those beginners to advanced. You may have heard of the cargo ferry Don Pedro which sank very near to the Ibiza port several years ago and this is now available for the public to view when diving!
Ibiza also makes for a lovely family holiday, especially for little ones. There are many play parks and areas for kids which include features like carousels, bouncy castles and trampolines.
This is only a taster of what Ibiza has to offer you. If the activities mentioned above interest you then what are you waiting for? Go have some fun in Ibiza.
