Things we need to do in this life
I have listed some of the things we need to do in our lives:
Love passionately. It has always been said that it is better to have love and lost than to never to have love at all. Whether this is romantic love, parental love, or love for the unknown etc., we must love passionately, it is only when you love fullest (sometimes you get lucky or blessed it will last forever) that you hurt the most and you value the lessons learned.

Pursue your dreams, whatever your dreams are. Even if you fail, you still learn the lesson.Whatever stage in your life at the moment, just take time to pursue your dreams. Just try it and be persistent. How many times do we see a person go back to school at the age of 60 or 70? For me I like to learn more about guitar playing.
Overcome fear or phobia: I have a phobia on high places so I dreaded climbing buildings and high mountains. I was really scared when I went to the Eiffel tower in Paris, France and the 88 story Two International Finance Center, which was built in 2003 in Hong Kong but I managed to look down below. I will be scared to death if I will touch a snake, haven’t done that yet.
Watch one Olympic Game: Olympics is held to a pre chosen country every four years. The bidding starts as early as ten years before the Olympics. If you love sports (it doesn’t matter if you love it or not), it is nice if you can watch one of the Olympics. Corollary to this is that you should also watch your favorite sport team play and wear anything about your team. (own a shirt or other memorabilia of your favorite team and sports)
Read at least five books which you really like: I have read two already, Gone with the wind and 100 years of solitude, I need to read three more. The thing is you never know if the last book you have read is the best one, so just keep on reading.
Travel to a place of your dream: Most of us work throughout our active life. It is nice if we can travel to a place where we really like to go. I have a friend who saves money just so she can travel to different places. She said she will live only once and she needs to see the wonders of the world. By the way, she is lucky to travel around the world by writing scholarly works and she presents them in International Conferences etc. International organizers would sponsor her travel and accommodations. What a way to share your knowledge and visit nice places at the same time. You might want to climb the Mount Everest and challenge yourself, or go skiing, mountain or snow, parachute gliding etc.
Splurge in money, pamper yourself, laugh out loud once in awhile: like an unknown author said “ Work like you don’t need money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one’s watching“.
Treat yourself to a spirit, drink and get drunk at least five times: Let loose. Taste the wine which you have been dreaming of.
Help at least ten people, whether financial, advice or just praying for them.
Be a model of goodness, kindness to your children, raise them to become a good citizen, that’s the only legacy you can leave them, good deeds and good example.
Call your parents or communicate with them and tell them you really appreciate what they did for you, include your siblings, etc.
Sing your complete favorite song even when you are alone or you have an audience. Dance to your favorite music.
And if you have the time listen to this music:
Dust in the wind by Kansas
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
[Now] Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind.
