A "Stay-at-Home" Mom (or Dad)...

Sounds great, but you just don't think you can get by without that second income, right?

Don't be so sure. That J.O.B. may be costing you more than it's paying you.

Let's say you're a parent of just one young child earning $25,000 a year ($500 a week) at your full-time job.

Taxes, social security (are they really serious?), Medicare, etc. are going to get about $100 of that $500 before you even see it.

Next comes daycare for your children. You'll probably pay about $150 per week to have strangers raise your children, leaving you about $250 a week.

You're going to need an extra car running up extra expenses. Even if you figure that you already have a second car, so you don't count the car note and insurance, your extra fuel, wear and tear, maintenance and repairs will run you another $100 per week. That leaves you with $150 a week.

You've got to look sharp at work, so you're looking at spending more on clothing and laundry, plus cosmetics (for the ladies) and hair care. Figure an easy $20 a week, leaving you $130.

You've got to eat lunch every day, and most of the people in your office eat out, so you need to join them. If you can get by on $5 a day for lunch (you better be eating at McDonalds or Wendy's every day) , you're still going to spend $25 a week, so you're down to $105 now.

After nine hours at the office, bringing the kids to and from day care, and doing all the other chores and errands that life requires, you still have to do something about supper.

So, at least once a week, you pick up something on the way home or go out to eat. Better figure $35 for a family of four. That leaves $70.

Even your groceries are going to cost more, because you're going to be buying a lot more prepared foods. Add an extra $30 to your weekly grocery bill, and you're now bringing home $40 a week.

(Let's don't even count miscellaneous expenses like office gifts, extra household help, missing work with a sick child, you name it...)

You're having strangers raise your children so you can go get stressed out at a J.O.B for $1.00 an hour.

Don't you think you're worth more than $1.00 an hour?

(And think about this. Your second income may even cause your spouse to go into a higher tax bracket. You could be going in the HOLE!)

What's the answer?

A home based business.

Not only are your income possibilities unlimited, but the tax advantages alone of owning your own home-based business make it more than worthwhile.

Not only do most home-based businesses make more money than traditional jobs, but the LIFESTYLE is priceless.

Working when and where you want, being able to go to your children's school and other activities, and having the freedom create your own future are just a few of the advantages of a home-based business.
