3rd Day Church

Dr. Kluane Spake

What do we mean when we refer to the THIRD DAY CHURCH? Well, aside from the fact that we now live in the third millennium, we also have a chance to "do church" in new ways. It is revolutionary change! Radical ideas. Looking at Scripture in the light of new historical data. It is fresh, relevant, and current.

The 3rd Day Church represents those Christians called out to enter into the Third feast (Tabernacles).

This means that unless you move beyond the rigid ideals of the 1st Day Church -- and go through the traditional mindset of the 2nd Day, you won't and can't enter into the 3rd Day Church.

The 3rd Day embraces the revelation of God tabernacling IN US and showing us how to LIVE in His presence. It is the revelation of God tabernacling IN US and showing us how to LIVE in His presence.

This 3rd feast (that of Tabernacles), is no longer about US. It's ALL ABOUT HIM!.

The 3rd Day Church is all about RESURRECTION. Jesus resurrected on the third day. We come from death to life in this third day through HIm.

We live in the third thousandth year from the cross. A day to the Lord is as a thousand years (2 Pet. 3:9).

It's about entering into the finished work of Christ NOW, in this lifetime. It's about us apprehending all that the cross purchased.

It is about a non-traditional mindset that moves out of our own meager faith and into the faith of the Son of God (Gal. 2:20).

It is about discovering Christ and His glory in US corporately (the Bride) and revealing His glorious LIKENESS to the world.

It is about bringing the tangible reality of heaven to earth NOW.

The 3rd Day is about actualizing EQUALITY. I find 3rd Day truth well summed up in the latest King Arthur movie when the important guest complained about not sitting at the head table and objected to dining at a round table. The answer to his protest was, "King Arthur says, for men to be me, they must first be equal."

  • Equality is one of the main values that describe our position in Christ. We are Melchizedek priests - equals functioning together as equals. It is no longer about hierarchy or the old pecking order of being OVER someone - that's gone.
  • Now, each one is fully valued as a grown up son (not gender defined).
  • Leadership is put into place to bring us into maturity and destiny. We honor and regard those who can lead us properly.

The 3rd Day Church seems to be aptly described by what is happening on earth right now. There's a hunger for more - and the answers are here.

  • More Thoughts on Tithing and “Tithing UP!”

But, New Testament giving should not be out of "legalism" or "obligation." Nor should our giving be because of reward, or given out of fear of Divine retribution. Tithing should not be to "open the windows of heaven." Those windows are now open and never shut. - 10 days ago

  • OUR 95 Theses

Dr. Kluane Spake writes On October 31, out of love for the truth, the Priest and Reverend Father Martin Luther, Master of Arts and Sacred Theology, and lecturer at Wittenberg, nailed his 95 Thesis (Theses) upon the door of the Wittenburg church. These statements stood against the current trends of the church and pronounced truths. The church of today has greatly benefited from Martin Luther's efforts. - 3 weeks ago

  • Quantum Leap! - Dr. Kluane Spake

It's not just about working harder. If your best efforts would or could have done it, it would have happened by now. It's not just about the limitations of common sense, planning, calculating, and logic. - 6 weeks ago
