Maria was single for about two years before she started dating her husband, she dated all types of guys and tasted the rainbow. They had both joked around about giving up on men after they had complained about all the bad dates they had been on recently.

Although she is married now, Maria and Mr. S are still friends, they don't talk much, and they don't see each other often because they have a long distance between them, but he always reassures her that when ever she is ready to come back home that he is never going to let her go again.

As for Maria's husband, he appreciates everything she learned from her experience with Julie. He thinks Maria is the coolest wife in the world, he knows about Julie and it is always a turn on for him to picture them together. He met her last summer, but now she is in a long term relationship with another guy, but it was nice for him to put a face to her name for his own benefit. Julie and Maria have remained friends but don't talk on the phone much; she will call her from time to time to see how she is doing and Maria will call her every once in awhile. All in all, Maria is glad that she got to see what men go through when they deal with women and all the weird little things we do that were once so normal to her. It's funny how things change when you put yourself out there and are open to new things and experiences. I would never tell a woman that they should be with a woman, but not only did Maria see what men have to put up with, she learned what her lesbian friends go through. We never realized why they fight so much, I guess we always assumed it would be easier to be with a woman then with a man, then Maria found out that we were so very wrong! Julie will always be a special person in Maria's life, they say you never forget your first, and I think they are right!
