Thomas the train lego sets make great toys for toddlers and preschoolers. Lego is a great educational toy for this age group. It helps develop motor skills and generates lots of opportunities for creative and imaginative play. The Thomas Load and Carry train set is a great starter Thomas Lego Duplo set. There are 16 pieces of track which are really easy to assemble. It also includes Thomas and cargo tower with slide so you can open it to drop cargo, a signal, and station..  The set is aimed at 2 to 5 years and they will have great fun putting the track together which is great for honing fine motor skills. The track is easy to assemble but very young children may need to help at first. Once the track is built children will love using the lego for imaginative and creative play.

There are lots of opportunies to expand your Thomas the train lego collection once you have an established starter set.
