My Job!!

If at first you don't succeed-try to hide your astonishment!!

Hello once again.

I found a good thought of the day!!!

IF AT FIRST YOU DON't SUCCEED-TRY TO HIDE YOUR ASTONISHMENT!!

This is such a funny thought.

I would suppose alot of us do feel this way mostly. How dare anyone tell us we have not succeed.

The line "sorry, I didn't get that done exactly right", or "I'm sorry that was my fault and I will know how to do it better next time", are very uncommon sayings.  When do you suppose we all became perfect.  Learning through experience is not allowed. Whether it be at work, at play, at our relationships, or even parenting, "WE" are the best.  We don't allow others to mess up or learn by trial and error without being very critical of them.  Instead of encouragement to someone who is learning, we get a sense of accomplishment at others failures..

Now, do you suppose that if we allowed ourselves and others to make mistakes and help each other learn as we go it would be so much of a more productive world.  If we allowed each other to not feel the need to always succeed the first time, we would concentrate on how to do what we are trying to accomplish.  For example:  At work someone was trying to do something.  Instead of helping them "learn to succeed", a group stood around making fun of thier inexperience.

So, with this saying, do this.  Next time you are trying to do something, don't feel at a loss, don't feel self conscious, just buck up and deal with the task at hand.  Then and only then will you eventually succeed.

PRACTICE DOES NOT MAKE PERFECT,   PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!!!!!!
