Three Homeless Puppies Need YOU to Help Save Their Lives!
70Many of your are already no doubt registered with Facebook, and some of you may well be aware of the desperate race to save three homeless puppies based in Turkey, and bring them to loving homes that are awaiting them in Britain.
Now like many of you I find lots of these Facebook invitations rather annoying, and usually ignore them, but somehow this one got to me and I joined the cause. now I am carried away on a wave of needing to see these darling puppies brought away from a country that apparently thinks it perfectly okay to inhumanely slaughter thousands of puppies simply to remove a problem.
Having seen the efforts both Avril and Karen are going to in order to fund the quarantine of these pups, and the obvious passion with which they are driven by, I wanted to do something, anything in fact, to help them achieve their goal. So far their online efforts, be it through prize draws, donations etc, have raised nearly £1,600 but this isn't nearly enough to fund the crates, travel, and three time six months quarantine for "Soda, Whisky" and "Minstrel". (In dollars they need about $8000 to ensure Whiskey, Soda and Minstrel reach their new homes).
Help Me Please! Love Soda x
Minstrel
The Story as per Avril and Karen.
What started out as a rescue of two ( then 3 ) small, homeless pups soon turned into an emotional turmoil for British holiday makers Avril and Karen ..
This is the story of three homeless Turkish puppies , - Minstrel, Soda and Whisky. approx age 14 weeks.
Whisky and Soda were found by holiday makers Avril Simms and Karen Wren on a Turkish street , Minstrel was alone at a local Turkish shelter .
Not much is known about the pups prior to them being found, other than Whisky had cigarette burns, was riddled with worms and fleas, Soda was also full of worms some as long as 10 inches, and fleas.. Minstrel was in much better condition due to being cared for at the shelter, but she still longed for a home of her own .
They were all treated at a local Turkish veterinary clinic for their problems. They are now safe with an animal loving friend of Avril and Karen in Turkey , but this is only temporary , Avril and Karen want to bring them home to UK .
This is where you can help ,
Any amount you can spare will go toward bringing these babies back to UK .and help with the costly quarantine fees.
Thank you
Avril and Karen
It wouldn't take much, even if each and every person reading this donated just a $5 or $10, and then watched the Facebook group to see what happens. I have donated, but can't afford much, so hope to help via this route instead. Time is getting short, Avril and Karen only have until November 13th, and these puppies need our help now!
I am relying on the compassion of my fellow hubbers to help make these puppies future secure. No matter how little you can afford to donate, please donate it anyway. you can do this through paypal if you go to this site:
http://puppyrescue.chipin.com/mypages/view/id/272f5455aad82274
Regular updates on the total raised are sent to you, versus what is needed, if you join the Facebook group, along with updates on the situation.
Please Help, I rarely beg anyone, but this really matters!
Please show that we are a humane society and can make a difference. I want to see these puppies live "happily ever after", now I need you to help make this dream come true.
Please don't just click away from this hub, it will take you seconds to make a small donation, and imagine how good you will feel when you know the puppies are safe in their loving new homes, knowing you helped make it possible.
Thank you everyone.

Thanks ocbill, I hope many more will help too, even if they only donate a few pounds or dollars, it all helps.
such great pictures
Thanks Jacky, I just hope they get some more donations as the date for them to be brought to the UK is very close now, and the quarantine fees need to be paid. I worry for them.
