Three Ways For WOW Turkey

Not Your Grandma's Turkey
Here are some basic ideas for a family favorite. Don't limit yourself to these ideas, try some of your own! Experiment! Enjoy!
1) Teriyaki Turkey - With a little soak time for maranading, I like about 12 to 16 hours, makes for a tangy, moist bird, especially when pineapple and orange slices are laid out on the skin.
2) BBQ Turkey Wings - I call them "Dragon Wings." Bigger than chicken drum-lets, the guys go wild for these Frank's Red Hot soaked bad boys. For those with tummy issues you can cut the hot sauce 50/50 with ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Again, marinade overnight.

Hopefully these ideas give a new life to this old bird, and the thanksgiving recipes will be a little more interesting for all involved next year. Who knows, maybe turkey will become a year round hit at your house you culinary genius.
