As a single mom, things can get crazy. I mean crazy. There are the days you find your out of milk, when all your child wants is cereal in the morning, you step in the dog's water dish just as your three year old is running across the floor and falls, all the while your seven year old wants to help tie the dog out, and the dog takes off down the road in the pouring rain. You don't know which way to turn, and barely have time to breathe, but somehow, someway, god willing, things work out. You teach your oldest to play trick or treat with the cereal so they'll eat it dry, and have fun doing it, which ends up all over he floor, but somehow lures the dog back inside to clean up the mess. Go figure! When all of this happens in just under 4 minutes, your exhausted and completely bewildered. At the end of the day you laugh together, pet the dog, read bed time stories, and thank god for helping you through another day.
