One Person "CAN " Make A Difference

Most people, by nature, are very set in their ways. We make mistakes, and instead of taking steps at the point of that mistake, we have the tendancy to "bury it" somewhere deep and secret, hoping no one will ever notice or find out about it, fooling ourselves into thinking, "It will never happen again". George Santayana writes in his Book, 'The Life of Reason' , " Those who cannot remember the past, are condemed to repeat it." (read more)

I have always believed that "One Person Can Make a Difference" no matter what the obstacle may be. You can find instances of this all through recorded history . Changes and Impacts" made by men such as :

  • Alexander The Great
  • Genghis Kahn
  • Christopher Columbus
  • Marco Polo
  • Indiri Ghandi

Along with a multitude of individuals to numerous to list here. As you may have noticed, I have also included some names here that many may recognize both good and bad. While some people through out history have been

" Less than Honorable ", they were instrumental in "Changing the world as they knew it". Thankfully, for every "Tyrant" that surfaced in history, there were individuals that also surfaced to "Counter-act" the Evil influences.

Yes Steven without a doubt one person can make a difference and you dont even have to look to famous people to see this in action. There are many men and women out there who, through courage, determination and yes honor have done so much for so many. Look at Reggie Hall. Who is he? just a man who has made a difference. If you would like to read more about this man go here:http://www.sptimes.com/2008/01/27/Northpinellas/On Your Succes.
