For those of you not familiar with Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins answers the call of the two little Banks children. The Banks are a wealthy family, so much so that the father never has time for the children, an important lesson learned. A magical nanny, Mary, whom appears from seemingly nowhere, seems to fit the detailed description of a nanny the children so wish for.

The loved Disney classic, Mary Poppins has come to broadway. The show has been created, in collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who has written the book, and the Olivier Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who have composed new songs and additional music and lyrics. However, the Sherman brothers original academy award winning songs are also featured.

Co-direction and choreography is by Olivier Award-winner Matthew Bourne, set and costume design is by Tony Award winner Bob Crowley.

Cameron Mackintosh, the legendary producer of the record-breaking The Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Les Miserable combines with Disney to create a new enchantingly extraordinary sensation.
