Tile and Grout Cleaning
68People use tiles and grouts to enhance the beauty of the house or office. They do a good job of increasing the beauty but the only problem with them is the cleaning problem. The tile lines catch dust in no time and stains can be seen in places but. It is tough to wash the grout lines and people sweats hearing the order to clean these stains! But luckily we have awesome and efficient technologies now that can help to ease up the job.
There are two types of machine for cleaning tiles and grout lines and they are the pressured water cleaner and the vaporized steam cleaner. The pressured water cleaner through water at high pressure that cleans the stains but the germs stays intact. Pressured water cleaner is no good at killing the germs. But the vaporized steam cleaner does the both job in a better way and at the same time. It releases the vapor at high temperature and pressure.
So the stains get off and the germs can not withstand the heat. But when buying a steam cleaner you will have to be careful. Buy the one that has a higher temperature limit. The highest limit is 180c and these are the best. 180c is way more that water’s boiling point that is 100c. There are other stuffs to about too. The latest steam cleaners come with a new technology- it can extract dirt deep from tiles in a way the brush or sponge does. Then the cleaners provided by the good brands are more efficient as the volume of the released steam is 200% more than the normal one.
There are some ways to keep the tiles clean. Some are given below:
1. Kitchen tiles should be regularly maintained and you should prevent food or oils to fall in the tiles. This dirt causes the grout lines.
2. Use vinegar mixed with water on tile grout at least once a week. Let the vinegar mixture to pour on the floor for 10 minutes. This cleans up some of the grime. Then wash with water and dry it off to stop mildew.
3. You can use a toothbrush to reach small crack, especially around accessories like sink and shower faucets. First make it wet and scrub after a few minutes and then rinse and dry. If needed, you can also use a little soap or baking soda on the toothbrush to get out the dirt from small areas
