The day draws near the hour nigh
A piece of bread a man pays a dollar

Sudden pangs the earth travails
The nations scream yell and holler

A soon collapse in the house of cards
Like broken glass the many shards

Your only hope comes from within
The only safety is found in Him

The system struggles reeling to and fro
They will not recover from this fatal blow

Do not take heed to its cry of peace
For wars draw near and will not cease

Give ear these words take heed my cry
This time of trouble will soon draw nigh

There comes a quaking a mighty shaking
To see what's real and who's been faking

These things are coming imagine why
This test for sure your soul to try

I mean not to make you blue
All I want is what is true

It matters not who is who
What really counts is Who knows you

Your only hope comes from within
The only safety is found in Him

So as these days draw to a close
The world endures its troubled woes

Lift up your head lift it high
For your salvation does draw nigh
