Around 66 million individuals, in the United States alone, are affected by ringing in the ears in one way or another. This haunting noise has proved to be a nuisance in the lives of these individuals, so various remedies have been made available to provide relief from tinnitus. Lipoflavonoid is one these.
Defined as the perception of sound in one or both ears or in the head where no outside source is present, tinnitus is caused by certain unhealthy conditions in the body. These include noise-induced cochlear damage, middle ear infections, stress, Meniere's Disease, age-associated hearing loss, thyroid disorder, and vitamin B12 deficiency. As we can see, several of the causes of ear ringing have something to do with health of our ears.
As a remedy for tinnitus, lipoflavonoid is being used. It is a formula composed of different vitamins that promote general health as well as inner ear health. These vitamins include eriodictyol glycoside, vitamin B12, vitamin C, riboflavin, choline, and niacin.
Inducing histamine can produce the symptoms of Meniere's Disease, which is one of the main causes of ringing in the ears. Eriodictyol glycoside can then act as an antihistamine, hence, it helps in relieving the symptoms of Meniere's Disease, which include vertigo and ringing in the ears. Another example of the use of the formula is that it contains vitamin B12 that helps act against vitamin B12 deficiency, which is another cause of the unwanted sound.
The formula, in general, helps improve circulation in the inner ear. This allows the tiny hair cells that act as transmitters of electrical impulses of sound to the brain. Furthermore, good inner ear circulation helps the fluids within the ear canals to flow better. And, these all contribute to less susceptibility to and/or reduction of ringing in the ears.
Other known treatments for tinitus include acupressure, acupuncture, biofeedback, hypnotherapy, meditation, relaxation, herbal preparations, and homeopathic remedies. Conventional drugs like antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and anticonvulsants are also being used as relief agents.
While there are commercially available remedies, there are also natural remedies. The foods and drinks to avoid include salty foods, chocolates, soda, coffee, and alcohol. On the other hand, your diet should be rich in choline, protein, zinc, and the vitamins A, B, and E. To improve your blood circulation, have a proper and regular exercise. Most of all, maintain a positive attitude and do not get stressed very easily.
