Tip #2 from a gammer chick in WOW
57Tip# 2 speed leveling
Hope you're doing great today.
Today I want to tell you a simple but very effective way to doubling
your leveling speed.
You probably already know (and if you don't you're about to find out)
that when you log out of the game and are located at an inn or
major city you start to gain rested XP (experience).
Over the last few patches blizzard has increased the amount
of rested XP you get when you do this.
So for starters always log out at the nearest inn.
And, while WOW is a fun, addictive game, it can become tedious
and boring leveling the same character over an extended period of
time. That's why it's creating alts help with two things.
1. It helps you break the repetition of leveling, giving new
excitement and experience to the game.
2. By logging out at an inn you'll be getting rested XP while you
still enjoy the game on one of your alts (and if you're like
most people you have a bunch :D ).
Now, there is a limit to how much rested XP you can get, it's
actually 1.5 levels worth (also rested XP means you will get
double the amount of xp for killing things that are green, yellow
or red to you).
It takes 10 days to get max rested XP, so this is another reason
for alts.
Here's a little extra secret, when you use rested XP it is most
beneficial to grab all the quests in that area, this way when you
kill things they are for the quests and adds to your overall
XP.
And turning in quests doesn't take away from your rested XP,
rested XP is solely for earning double xp for killing creatures.
If you liked todays tip you should checkout The Ultimate Guide
To Warcraft. It's one of the only in game guides where it
actually points you to where to go for quests and how far away
they are, and what to kill.
Since I personally started using this in game addon I've at LEAST
doubled my leveling time and it made going from 70-80 a breeze
and will get you 1-80 in record time).
No more alt-tabbing for me to try and figure out where to go for a
certain quest.
Hope todays tip helped you out see you again tomorrow with another one till then see you in Azeroth!
