Tippy the Boat Cat

My name is Tippy and I live aboard a 41' Morgan Classic Center Cockpit sailboat with another cat and two humans.

For awhile our boat was on a lake on the Texas/Oklahoma border. Then we moved across the country to Maryland. We spent two years sailing the Chesapeake Bay, then we cruised up to Maine.

When we all started getting chilly, we turned the boat around and headed south - down the Intracoastal Waterway all the way to Florida, and then across the Gulf Stream to the Bahamas.

My name is Tippy the Boat Cat.

I live on a sailboat.

I love my life.

Except sometimes when the seas get rough...

I hold on tight to halyards...

and humans.

This is my 21 year old sister, Blazey.

I love the smell of the salt air,

The many things to see along the Intracoastal Waterway, and

in the Bahamas.

I've fed swans and..

swimming pigs.

I love the sunsets at anchor.

There are so many comfortable places to sleep on a boat.

I'm a pretty contented cat.

In fact, I've written a book about my adventures at sea.
