Water conservation

Your local hardware can help. Change all faucet nozzles to water savers or add a water restricter between the nozzle. Water restricters are also available for outside spikets and shower heads. They reduce the volume of water but not the pressure.

They also make plastic inserts for the toilet tanks that reduce the water use by a gallon or so every time you flush.

Use a dishwasher if you have one but make sure it is full. Newer energy star products are best for conserving water and electricity.

If you don't have a dishwasher do full sink loads and rinse with the water turned way down.

Limit your showers to ten minutes or less and cut back on baths or if you want to take a bath fill to the lowest level you can.

Do large full loads of laundry or if you do a smaller load set the washer to small load.

If you get alot of rain in your area some people put drums under a gutter spout to catch the rain and use it later to water thier plants. This may require some shortening of the gutter and a spout at the bottom of the barrell to drain the water out.

You can easily save 20% or more using the advice from above.

Thanks for giving answer. As we cant stop industrial use of water, its better to use water carely in home use. I know about how to try to save water in garden. But the things you described is really good.
