This is an answer to a request by the same title. Of course a man's advice to a man would be helpful in it's own right, but as a nice girl, I feel like I have some great insight as well.

Let's first define my definition of a nice girl (because it may differ from yours.) When a guy is looking for a nice girl I assume he means a cute girlfriend-type he's looking to spend more than a few dates with.

Believe it or not you can meet this girl in a bar. But she won't be the girl wearing next to nothing taking shots and dancing on the bar. Next time, try turning around and looking for the girl standing a little further back enjoying the scene. If this is the scenario you find yourself in talking to the nice girl helps. Say something funny about what's going on and offer to buy the nice girl a drink. Being chivalrous never goes out of style and women still enjoy a man giving up a seat in a crowded bar for them.

Another way to meet nice girls is, of course, outside of the bar. Nice girls do their laundry, go grocery shopping and everything else normal people do. You can meet a nice girl at any time of the day. Compliments are a nice way to get your foot in the door if you don't know how to strike up a conversation. Also, if a girl is unsure about giving her number out then offer her yours.

If you're a shy guy, and many nice girls like shy guys, then online dating might be a great way for you to meet a nice girl as well. You can tell a lot about someone by how they present themselves with one page of web content.
