For example, a plate body (heavy metal armor worn on torso) provided excellent defense against melee and ranged attack but reduces resistance to magic spells and your magic attacking ability while dragon hide armor (armor made of dragon hide worn on torso, legs and wrists) enhances your ranged attacks and magical resistance but lowers your magic attacks.
