Pizza Hut is a great company that welcomes newcomers from all over the country. You can go directly to their website, or you can type Pizza Hut Jobs into your search engine and you’ll find yourself at their online job application. The Careers screen takes a minute to load if you don’t have a DSL connection; gather your social security number and information on any past jobs you’ve had. To begin, click Skip Intro.

You’ll find several windows labeled Real Opportunity, Real People, Real Difference. Real Opportunity talks about their growth opportunities for employees, how you learn about things like food safety and hospitality, and their preference to advance employees into higher positions over time.

It’s good to know about the following so that you can talk about them at a personal interview: Clicking on Real People lets you hear interviews from Pizza Hut employees. Real Difference shows you about employee rewards opportunities such as appreciation cards as well as the company’s participation in the well known Book It! reading incentive program and the United Nations’ World Food Programme. The company is also proud of its all-natural ingredients.

The Apply Now tab is in the upper right-hand corner; click it. Choose from Team Member Jobs, Restaurant Management Jobs, or Corporate Jobs. The Team Member and Restaurant Management options take you to one type of application where you can click on Apply to an Open Position, or Jobs by Location. Both of these locations are https sites, meaning they are secure. And both of them let you add other positions or other locations at upcoming screens. Read the brief job description; it gives you more great information to talk about at an actual interview.

The pre-application disclosure screen says if you have a special need the company will let you apply in person. It also notifies you that they will verify the information you give them. Also, it shares information with its sister companies, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, A&W, and Long John Silvers. The last paragraph expresses their status as an equal opportunity employer. You must check off the box at the bottom of the page in order to continue.

Next, you enter your first name, middle name (optional), last name, street address, choose a country, city, choose a state, zip code, and home phone number. It’s optional to input a second number such as a cell phone or pager or enter your email address. You must enter your social security number and choose a way that describes how you heard about jobs at Pizza Hut.

Next you create an account name with a password. This lets you begin the application and go back to it at a later time. Then you move on to Pre-Employment Questions. Hopefully you can check off YES to your legal right to work in this country and reliable transportation to work. You also have to answer whether you’ve worked for one of the related companies before the ones named above. From this page and at any place forward, you can pick Save for Later and finish it when you have more time.

At the next screen you have to agree to a criminal background check, and then you confirm you are old enough to work the position you’ve chosen. Some positions require that you enter your driver’s license number.

The next screen lets you list when you can work. You choose the days, and then boxes open to choose the times. On the next screen you enter your desired pay rate. Next, you can upload your resume, but for entry level positions just check that you don’t want to upload a resume and move on.

Be prepared to enter your past work history, beginning with your current or last job held. If you don’t have jobs to enter you can check that off. They want the company, job title, month and year you began and left, the city and state, supervisor’s name, phone number, what you did there, and your salary. You also have to pick whether they can contact that employer and why you left. When you choose why you left, additional boxes open to indicate why you quit or why you were terminated, and a field to describe what happened.

When you enter your high school or college, if you’re still attending boxes will open to enter where you’re attending and what you’re studying. If you check that you have licenses or certifications, boxes will open to describe them.

You must provide two references, including name and phone number. You can list where they work and also indicate how they know you. You will then come to a series of forty assessment questions, which ask about the type of atmosphere you’d enjoy, whether you get discouraged easily, how much effort you put into work, and similar questions. Do NOT just check off the first option to all of these because that will indicate some very negative qualities.

After that you must enter if you’ve been convicted of or pled to various charges, or if you’re currently charged. If yes, you must supply details. Then you are asked to answer a series of questions that help the government determine the company’s eligibility for certain incentives, and you can refuse each question if you want.

This moves you on to the company’s terms, including their drug-free policy and your certification that your answers are correct; you must check off the box at the bottom. The next screen contains optional demographic information. Finally you arrive at a screen where you can preview everything you’ve entered, and then you submit your application. Good luck!
