If you have acne you may be wondering what causes it and what you can do to not have it anymore.  There are two steps to getting rid of acne.  One is to fix the current acne blemishes that you have, and two is to practice prevention tips in order to stop future breakouts from happening.

Drink Plenty of Water

Water helps your body in many different ways.  It is essential that you drink water in order to live but there are other uses for it.  It can help you to lose weight fast, but it can also help you to get rid of acne.  I suggest that you drink 8-12 glasses of water every day.  yes, in the beginning you may have to pee a lot but if you continue drinking that amount every day then your body gets used to it.  Water acts like a cleansing agent to help to purify your body and to flush out your system, and keep everything running smoothly.  This will help to keep your skin clean and it will really cut down on the amount of acne that you have.  Since the water you drink can go through your pores it keeps those pores clean and healthy, and free of dirt which can cause acne irritations.

Eat Those Herbs

Herbs, according to some recent research and studies, actually help to reduce and prevent acne breakouts from happening.  One of the top herbs that helps with this is the red clover.  IT helps you because it helps to remove any toxins that may be in your body, as well as purifying your blood.  Other tops ones in acne prevention circles are the dandelion root as well as alfalfa.

Eat Healthier Foods & Exercise

In addition to eating herbs and drinking more water, eating the right kinds of foods help also.  Organic fruits and vegetables are free of toxins that other fruits and vegetables may have and so those toxins, which could cause acne, won't be in your body.  Also, eating foods lower in fat and sugars helps your body to stay cleaner and healthier, which can help to prevent acne also.

If you exercise, your body will sweat, and you'll be able to sweat toxins out of your body.  You will also sweat more, which helps to clean out your pores.  When you first start working out you may notice that your acne actually gets worse.  That is just temporary and you'll start to see after a week or so of working out, that your skin clears up much more.

Visit a Dermatologist

If your acne is sever, and none of the above things work for you, then go and visit a dermatologist, especially one who specializes in acne outbreaks.  They can help to identify some of the main causes specific to you.  Then, just take their advice that they give you and you should be well on your way to being free of acne.
