Depression Hurts!

I know depression hurts, but there are ways to alleviate it! I hope to help with useful information. First,always remember never give up on yourself. I would strongly urge you that if depression is serious enough you should see a Doctor as soon as possible. Always remember that you are not alone. There are many support groups to turn to. One of the ways I deal with depression is by playing the guitar and writing music. If you're not musically inclined, try writing and keep a journal. You could also write poetry, there are many types of poems to write as well. Exercise is also another great idea! Thirty minutes of moderate exercise a day and some weight training stimulates endorphins, which in turn, makes you happy! Something as simple as walking or even housecleaning is another great stimulant! Listening to music and reading is also another great asset. Depression may seem like a battle but it could be won! Just don't give up,you could do it!

Great tips here... they are simple but they do work. Sometimes its necessary to force yourself to do things for awhile until the depression lifts.
