Failure in exams is not a new affair for the young and old. People experience failures all through out their lives. A major share of it can be attributed to improper planning and execution of the plans. It is all mixed up in the mind of the exam taker as the date of the doom arrives slowly. This article briefly might be of help to students to dispel their exam fears.

One of the golden rules to be followed for passing the exam is simple. As far as possible try to avoid cramming a day or two before the exams. It is a major trend among the younger generation to pile up their lessons a day or two before the exams and spend those two critical days cramming whatever they can into their little heads. This is to be avoided as far as possible. Ever heard of the story of the hare and the tortoise? The tortoise won the race. How? Slow and steady wins the race. Likewise revise your lessons regularly and avoid last minute cramming sessions. Various tips are there for boosting the memory and for learning the facts quickly and easily. One of those is the usage of short forms and flash cards. They are of immense help in the long term.

One of the main issues associated with students are procrastination. The situation is same with the elders too. Do not skip any tests or model exams conducted, try attempting them and at least try passing those exams. This will in turn boost the morale of the students and drive them to a point when they will be perfectly confident of their skills. Now during exam times, the type of food being consumed is also of importance. Drinking lots of water and eating protein rich foods will also help.
