Tips on keeping cool during the summer months.
60How do I stay cool?
So how does one keep cool in these not sticky summer months? First, are you aware that when you sweat it is the bodies way of trying to cool itself off? The wet of the skin is suppose to cool the skin off. So unless you are dripping try not to wipe all of the sweat off of your skin. Second, there are cooling packs that come in many different styles. One of the most popular look like bandanas. You freeze them and then shape them around your neck. Third, ice cubes placing ice cubes on your wrists and ankles can help cool the body down. If really over heated cold clothes in the armpits is a good spot.
Remember the most important way to keep cool is to drink plenty of cool water. When you are overheated ice water is not the way to go, make sure it's cool but not with ice. If you start to feel dizzy, nauseous, or you get a headache you may want to consult your physician or go the emergency room. It is important to protect against heat stroke.
If you are in the sun, remember to wear an SPF of 15 or higher, remember to keep re-applying perodically during the day, keep your head covered and take frequent breaks to cool off. You can never protect yourself too much.
Of course to really protect yourself from the heat, stay in air conditioning. Stay cool!

From the two answers I've received, I'm starting to realize that there isn't a miraculous way to keep cool. The cooling techniques (ac, drinking water, etc.) that I already knew about and listed in my request seem to still be the best route to go. I appreciate you adding some more options. While I hate wearing sun block (It's too greasy! hehe) I will attempt to give it another go this summer. Thank you for answering my request! :o)
