Do You Have Your Converter Box Yet?

Are you in the need for a Digital to Analog TV Converter Box? If you are, then this is a great choice and value. The STB-T8 from Tivax is a Digital TV Set Top Converter, that allows analog pass through for an easy connection to to a TV antenna, electronic program guide and program information, auto scan, parental control, and supports both 4:3 and 16:9 TV aspect ratios. You have full operation by remote control, it's energy start compliant, allows closed-captioning, Dolby digital.

The inputs include Antenna/RF Coaxial and the Smart Antenna interface, stereo audio left and right, composite video, and one antenna/RF output. The box also comes with a remote control and batteries.

The performance of this converter is excellent. The price may be a bit higher than some brands, but if you want better quality, then you are going to have to pay for it. This Tivax STB-T8 model has received high praises from Consumer Reports.

The picture comes in extremely clear, as clear as a DVD, and the sound is comparable to that on TV. If the sound is not up to par, it is probably due to the broadcaster than the converter box.

The remote features a number of useful and easy to read button. The box is simple to set up, and takes little time. The colors may be a bit more intense than you prefer, because of this, you will need to reset or adjust your TV settings again. This is highly recommended, I am sure you will be happy with your purchase.

  • Receive free on air high definition TV broadcast
