Joh 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Who can we turn to when trouble starts? Who can we turn to when it seems all hell has come against us? This statement was made at a time when many of the followers of Jesus had turned and left. Jesus said something to them and they were offended by His words.

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

The words that Jesus spoke here offended many. They stopped following Him at the time. They refused to partake of that which Jesus had spoken. When we refuse that which Christ offers us, we refuse Christ. If we were to refuse salvation, we refuse Christ. If we refuse the blessings that are bestowed upon us, we refuse Christ. Acceptance of Christ is necessary for the salvation of men. We cannot be saved, if we believe not in that which God has given us.

Joh 6:61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

Jesus knew they were offended before he asked them the question. He knew many were going to walk away and refuse to follow Him anymore. Whom did these choose to follow when they left Jesus? There are many paths to choose from to follow. Many choose to follow Buddha, some chose Vishnu, while others follow after their own lusts. Why did they choose to leave Christ and follow others? Was what Jesus said to them too hard for them to do? Maybe it was too hard for those that left, only because they did not have the Spirit of God living inside them. Let the Spirit of God inhabit your being and allow Him to lead you and guide you always.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

What other way can salvation be gained? There is no way other than through Jesus. One must go by the cross and repent while asking for forgiveness for their sins. They must then accept Jesus as their Savior. This is the "ONLY" way to be saved. Who do you choose to follow today? To whom shall you turn if you walk away from Jesus? Tarot cards? Psychics? Witches? Who can save your soul? Accept Jesus now as your Savior and I promise you that you will not regret it. I also promise you that he will save you and you will know that you have been saved, because He said it would be so.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your Spirit that dwells within believers. Without the Lord Jesus, Father we would still be lost and dying in our sins. We thank you for providing the way for us to be saved. We ask Lord that the lost hear your voice calling to them to repent and be saved. Glory to you and you alone Lord. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, AMEN!!!!
