Tobacco the fuel of the future
69Scientist Drive 100 miles on a gallon of tobacco fuel
Wow. They did it again. A group of American scientists has formulated a gas out of the tobacco leaf. Little know to the gas industry, a team of scientists funded by a non profit corporation, have been studying various plants for their ability to be used as a substitute for oil as the new choice of fuel. To date using a highly sought method to process, this team has been successful with pretty much every plant that they have tried, the latest of which is tobacco.
The premiss of this research is to find a substitute for oil that, is plentiful in the United State, Which is a menace to our society, which can be mass produce, and which could easily be replaced. To date they have investigated more than 160 plants all with some sort of success. The big difference among all the plants is the emissions and the octane value.
Tobacco has proven to provide low emissions, and a high octane. As a gas, tobacco has shown to burn completely. At the minimum it is an excellent replacement for diesel fuel. But t has been formulated to run in regular gas engines with very little modification. The Question is, does the Government knows about this research, and when were they going to clue the general public in on it.
These scientists have said that corn ethanol is not the answer, it is a weak substitute as a fuel, and because of its burning inefficiency's, you get less milage per the gallon. So the question is? Is there a better oil substitute out there? Well the answer is yes, and it's not corn. But Thats just my Opinion.

Well you have you right to believe what you want, but the fact is that nothing happens without the governments blessing. You see the government is the point of regulation, and they can stop or allow whatever they want. For instance alcohol is legal, Marijuana, and other drugs are not.
The Government is responsible for this decision. You can’t tell me that alcohol is less deadly then marijuana, or tobacco. But then to top it off they approve a drug company, to make products that emulate the drugs they ban, but these are okay because they are prescription drugs. I think you see my point. About the media and public informing people your right, except that they are owned but a couple of rich people who impose their view, so there for they tell you what they think you need to know, and since the government does not have anything to do with gas, why when I go to the pump I get 10 to15% ethanol that I don’t want, and didn’t ask for. But yet it’s there. I would prefer 100% gas. That’s what I paid for. But Then again, that’s just my Opinion.

Pretty interesting, but I don't understand what the government (please lose the capital G) has to do with it and why they need to inform the public. It is the media's and the public's job to inform the public, not the government's. And last I checked, the government doesn't make or sell gas, so it's up to the market to do something with this.
