Today is a golden day for me. I should though actually restate that and say, today is a copper day for me. I earned myself my first penny thanks to HubPages.com.

I have been a part of this site for a little over a week now, and honestly I didn't think I'd even earn a red cent.

Day after day I have been checking my google adsense earnings, and day after day I'd have a lot of decent clicks, but as far as earnings went, I always had a 0.00 balance.

Today though, I got my first penny. Now if I can earn a penny every week, I'll be up 4 cents a month. I figure though the more content I put out there, the better my chances will be for earning 2 cents a week.

For some earning a penny in one week is a waste of time, but for me, my goal is to try and get it up to at least $1 a day by the end of April. It's wishful thinking but not untouchable. hehe.

Anyhow, google won't let me cash out on my cent yet, but I still like looking at it in there. In fact, I looked at it twice today. When I'm finished with this piece, I'm going to look at it again.

Try not to be jealous everyone, of my penny that is. I cannot buy much with it, but still the penny brought me some pride, so it's all good in my book.

I know that some of us wouldn't even bend over for a penny on the sidewalk, but there is something so much more magical about a penny when it's tallied up in an online account. haha.

Anyhow, that's all I got going on for today. It took me a few days, but low and behold I earned me some money.
