Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition for the Wii 51: Obelisk of Khamoon, Part 5
47
The first obstacle you will encounter are some blades, and they move. You can crouch to go under them, so cross over to the other side make sure they are nowhere near you when you get up to jump on the post, then to the other side.
A slamming door is here, this time vertical. Jump through it when it opens. The next one is a slamming door on a post. I jumped to the post the moment the doors shut, and that gives me plenty of time to land and get to the other side.
In this room, there is a temptation to jump to the golden switch, but all that does is start up some sawblades. Avoid that altogether, and you will see a lower platform on the left as you enter this room. Jump or lower yourself down to that, and then hang off of the edge. Release to the next edge and shimmy right until you can release to the other one. Shimmy right around the corner, and drop down another ledge.
You will see a metal ring from there, so go ahead and swing to it. From there, the cat mummies will show up, so take them out with your guns. Kill them dead now. You’ll see an artifact here, but you won’t be able to get it. Instead, hang off the ledge and drop to the floor.
If you look up, you’ll see a door that isn’t too far up. Just scramble up three ledges to get there. Go in and face the dangers.
The first is two sets of dangerous blades. What you need to do is wait until the higher set is all the way on the other side, then crouch low and enter into that deadly area. Eventually, the lower set will get to you, but you can stand and jump them because the higher set will have passed over. It is how I got through unscathed.
This next section is difficult. What I did is waited until the first doors slammed, then jumped when they made contact. I had plenty of time to make the jumps to the other side,
As for the blade, I shimmied left, then waited for the blade to pass by, then I was able to haul myself up.
You will then have to repair another machine. Go ahead and do that one and pull that lever.
