Tonight's dinner is a specialty salad?

My real dinner salad I ate and enjoyed!!!

First if the title has not told you this is the real salad I just made and am having as my dinner tonight.  It is a bit plain for me and my usual salads just because I have run out of many of my favorite throw ons and my leftover stash to use is not there today either.  So, though you may find this to be a bit of the abnormal for you it is quite tame and mild compared to the salads and dishes you will be getting from me!!  However, no less delicious. 

Let us start with a plate of greens.  This one is 'Fresh Express Field Greens'.  It contains Romaine (never iceberg and we will discuss why in another hub), Frisee (my favorite) Radicchio and carrots, now as I said this is not the salad it is the greenery on the bottom layer.  Next is a very chunky salsa from Wal Mart and it is the store brand, very inexpensive when compared to other brands but oh so good.  I use the Southwestern bean and corn.  It has black  and red beans and corn as well as chunks of sweet onion and tomato.  We pour this all over your greens in a healthy portion.  BRB, gotta take another fork full of mine.  Okay, so I had several forks full to tide me over for a moment but I am back. 

Now, where were we, the salsa is on.  Next, you need some sauerkraut, it will add a nice pungent taste that is not strong but there.  YESSSSS, just do it!!!!!!!  Only a little now and spread it all around.  Next is my ripped, never cut in chunks, chicken!!  I am never without a cooked chicken in my fridge, I use it far too often in far too many ways.  This is another rotisserie but a baked, barbecued or roasted, no matter will all do fine.  I put whatever portion I desire on, you do the same.  My salad dressing today is ranch but it could be balsamic raspberry, Catalina, a good Caesar or a balsamic vinaigrette, to please me. 

Lastly, we take 'Wheat Thins Toasted Chips Veggie' and a small handful will do, and crush them on top.  Mine is almost gone during the course of this writing.  I will be filled, have crunched to my hearts content, had much nutrition, little fat and a variety of textures and flavors to please my pallet.  There is nothing bland about this salad but since it is mild for me, I thought it a nice starter for you all.  Bon Apetit!!!  Ok, so French after all these Mexican ingredients may not be a wise choice phrase but there was German and Italian in the salad too, remember? 

Why don't I just close with a simple, healthy happy eating.  How's that?  Now I have a little salad left to finish myself.
