Tonic Health Insurance Care Plans

Tonic has three health care plans. The least expensive of them is the Tonik 5000 plan.

Tonik 5000

This plan covers  the whole body – from head to toe. The plan also have a $5,000 deductible, with reasonable co-pay rates. Premiums vary by state. The plan also covers routine eye exams and emergency visits. They range as low as $65 a month and as high as $100 in participating states. This is the plan to go with, for those who want quality health care.

Tonik 3000

The Tonik 3000 plan is also another great plan to choose from. Here, you will get the same coverage as the 3000, but your deductible is lower and the premium is higher. You also have to pay a higher co-pay per doctor visit, however, prescription drugs co-pay is are cheaper. The plan's average premium is $100 to $130 per month.

Tonik 1500

For the dislikers of high premium health insurance, The Tonik 1500 is for you. Here, the deductible is only $1500. This makes the monthly fees go up even more, but it's clear sailings for you, in terms of you paying nothing for visits, after the deductible. The best part about getting this healthcare plan is you will have unlimited doctor visits, as long as they're in the Tonik/Anthem network. The average premium is $150 a month.

Eligibility and Enrollment

Tonik health insurance plans are available for young adults in the 19-29 age range. Older adults can get  either plan, however, they must be in great health. To enroll in either plan, you will need to request a rate quote. The easiest place to get quotes is Tonik's main website, www.tonikhealth.com. You would click on one of the six states on the site, if you claim residency on either one, and get your quotes there. The quotes are not long at all, and does ask you a few important questions about your health, which isn't bad at all.

Final Word

Each Tonik health insurance plan fits the needs and budget of most young adults. While the premiums maybe higher or lower than similar heath care plans, it's no doubt one will be totally covered under a plan with this amazing company.

The benefit of procuring family health insurance is the peace of mind that comes if you or a family member where to need medical care. In the unfortunate event that a family member needs hospitalization you can relax knowing that a major part of the financial expense is covered by the insurance plan you have chosen. In the event that you or a family member require prescriptions on a daily basis it is comforting to know that most, if not all, of the expense will be covered by your insurance.
