Tony Horton's Rise In Exercise

You might think to yourself that a man who has been as successful as Tony Horton in health and fitness has always been a workout junkie, but that is not the case. It did not come easy to him at all, like many of us Tony did not eat healthy and he did not have a great body for the most part of his life. It was not until Tony moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career that he found out his passion for exercise and weight lifting. It all started from his desire to act, he thought having a better body might help him in his acting career, so he started attending the same gym that Arnold Schwarzenegger worked out at, the World's Gym in Venice, CA. It was at the World's Gym where Tony started to learn about his body and getting expert advice on how to gain muscle and get ripped.

Of course we all know how the story unfolds, Tony has helped thousands of people, from big CEO's and movie stars, to normal people like you and me with living healthier lives through his knowledge and his passion for exercise. Tony has become a professional student of so many different workouts like Kickboxing, Yoga, Plyometrics, Aerobics, Weight lifting, Interval training, and Kenpo X, that he now is a teacher and a world renown personal trainer for all of us. Not to long ago Tony Horton became a big part of the Beachbody workout team, since then he has put out success after success in the In-home workout arena. Starting from his Power 90 workout routine to P90x and then to his 10 minute trainer.


Power 90 - In Home Boot Camp

The Power 90 In home boot camp workout was Tony's first real big hit, it is the workout routine that put him on the map. Power 90 continues to grow in popularity as more and more people find out about it. Power 90 began the blueprints for so many new workouts today, by providing a 90 day workout system to get your body in shape and stay in shape.

Power 90 is a total body workout that is easy to fit in your daily routine. Each workout is around 30 minutes long and will get your heart and muscles pumping and your fat burning. Power 90 comes with 6 different workouts, Sculpt and Sweat 1-2, Sculpt and Sweat 3-4, and Ab ripper 100 and 200, it now also comes with a bonus disc called Fat Burning Express, which is said to help you lose up to 10 pounds in 6 days.

The great thing about this workout, is that it not only helps you with your exercise, but it also helps you with your eating habits. You will learn what to eat so you can help express your weight loss goals and learn how to revive your muscles from hard workouts. The tools that this workout comes with are incredible, it comes with a Fat burning meal plan guide, 6 day fat burning express plan, fitness guide, Power 90 calender, and a resistance band. P90x Extreme Fitness Routine

It was not to long for Tony Horton to come out with something that would change home workout programs as we know them and raise the bar to a whole new level. If Michelangelo has the 16th chapel, then Tony Horton has the P90x workout system. I know that kind of sounds ridiculous to compare the 16th Chapel to the P90x workout system, but trust me your body will look just as good after this workout. Mistakenly known as the Px90 system, it literally has revolutionized in home workout routines and now anything below P90x standards is just not worth getting. The P90x workout is another 90 day workout routine with the option of purchasing P90x plus, to extend it to 120 days. There are 12 discs to workout with, and each workout is around 45 minutes to an hour and a half. There are 3 different phases, each phase is 30 days long and will focus on getting you in the best shape of your life.

The reason P90x has been such a life changing workout program is because of it's use of "muscle confusion." If you have worked out before, then you probably have come to a point where you seem to hit a wall and you stop seeing results, which is called a workout plateau. That is because your muscles adjust to your workout routine and become familiar with your exercises. P90x helps you break through the workout plateau so you can continue to see results.

There are some great tools that come with this workout too, you get a fitness guide that shows you how to do your workouts, a nutrition guide that corresponds with each phase, so you can maximize your results, and a P90x calender so you can keep track of every day. So if the P90x is to hard for you and the Power 90 is still to long, you can always do the ten minute trainer. Each workout is only ten minutes long and if you think ten minutes cannot work you out, think again. Tony Horton will push you and challenge for a full body workout and will kick your butt into shape. The great thing about these workouts, is that you can stack them, so if you want to do more than just ten minutes you can stack the workouts as much as you want. The 10 minute trainer has been the most popular of Tony Horton's workouts and is only getting more and more popular.

The thing you really have to respect about Tony is that everything he comes out with is tough. Even 10 Minute Trainer is a tough 10 minutes. He's an impressive guy.
