Happy Halloween to all of you hubbers and your families ! I hope you and your little ghouls and goblins are having a splendid time as I myself am preparing to dispense sugar to youngsters later this evening . That Is of course predicated on the proposition that I am not going to be arrested for contributing to childhood obesity . Or have a lawsuit against me because I favor Snickers bars over Three Musketeers which someone found to be offensive . So hopefully I am able to accomplish my objective here and give you a hub that makes you wince and hopefully chuckle at the same time . I will do my best to keep It brief as I do not want to leave to large a carbon footprint and have an additional penalty added to my cap and trade taxes . But enough with the formalities and pending litigation , we are here to have fun right ? As most of you who were not Involved with watching " Dancing with the Stars " or twittering about what you had for breakfast today are aware , Nancy Pelosi and congress have been kind enough to assemble for us a 1,990 page healthcare bill that according to the Congressional Budget Office should approximate a total cost of $ 1,055. Trillion . Now I for one would love to share with you the exact details of this legislation , however I have run Into a small snafu . None of us are allowed to see this bill ! I guess the fact that you and I and our kids and our grandbabies and our great great granbabies are going to be paying for this proved to be somewhat Irrelevant . But oh what the hell ? Why should I be a killjoy and ruin this womans possible crowning acheivement which Is going to be the final nail In the coffin of American solvency . Let her and Harry have their party ! I mean who am I to question whether I have to pay for abortion with my tax dollars ? That Is just simply Nazi thinking right ? I gotta say I am really diggin the way this transparent Government stuff Is working out . How bout you ?

          As most of you know I wrote a humble little hub about Charles Rangel and how he did not declare nearly 4 million In Income on his taxes and then still gets to write our tax code . Well what has transpired since that time has not surprised me In the least , absolutely nothing ! As usual the theives get away with It and now there Is gonna be an Investigation Into 8 members of congress for various violations of ethics Including  (D) John Murtha , (D) Peter Visclosky ,(D) James Moran , ( D) Norm Dicks and ( D ) Maxine Waters , but hold on Republicans dont get to smug because also under Investigation are (R) Bill Young and ( R) Todd Tiahrt several of whom are on the defense appropriations committee . I am not going to elaborate as to why they will be Investigated , because does It really matter ? They are all going to get the same treatment every other politician gets when they are In violation of ethics . It will just dissapear , and they will escape like the great Houdini and we will go about our lives like nothing has happened . Because we dont care about accountability and responsibility anymore , It Interrupts our busy schedule and besides you dont want to miss the latest episode of HOUSE , that would be a major Inconvenience ! So nice trick to get your name In the papers guys !

Well for me personally I am kinda gettin a treat here . Gavin Newsom has decided to step out of the California Governors race and I for one could not be happier . As he and I are just polar oppisites In Ideology and outside of the Bay Area quite frankly Is not all that well thought of . So thank you Gavin as I was pondering where I would go when I left my beloved California when you took office . So I personally feel like I am getting a stay of execution with you out of the Governors picture . Thanks loads I will be happy to send you a snickers bar In a cute little environmental friendly bag as a parting gift !

But wait a minute ! This poses for me my next question . What If they had a Governors race and there was no one on the ballot ? All we got left Is Jerry Brown who as far as I am concerned had his biggest accomplishment 30 years ago when he dated Linda Ronstadt while she was a hottie ! Aside from that he has completely abandoned the majority of Californians by failing to execute his responsibilities In office . Mostly In regards to representing the people of California In court who passed Prop 8 . But at least he Is going to make a half assed attempt at looking Into ACORN and their violations here In the state . But I am sure ACORN will be treated like any dirty congressman and just Ignored . Then In the Republican Party the leading contender Is Meg Whitman who was to lazy to even vote In elections because she was busy running a business and raising kids . I guess when you are uber rich It does not matter who Is In office out here . You still get your piece of the pie right ?

One thing I am accutely aware of Is nobody likes a wet blanket . However I just feel the need to vent sometimes as I see Insanity going on around me all the time and In my mind If you do not stand against It , you are co-signing on It ! But for now I am gonna get my costume prepared as I get ready to greet the cute little ghouls and goblins that will be arriving at my doorstep . I am simply going to give them candy bars Instead of an oratory on how they are gonna be saddled with Immense debt , because I refuse to ruin their Halloween and I want them to have fun .
