Ok - so I've done the Top 10 Toys for Boys, Part 1 and Part 2, but what about us gals?!?! We like getting gifts too once in awhile and I know some guys struggle at finding a gift we will truely like that won't get the "oh, this is great!" followed by something under our breath that he can't quite understand...

So hopefully this list will help you guys with some ideas for the next gift you gotta buy for your wife, girlfriend, mom, whoever it might be...and gals, there might be something on this list you might want to put on your wish list. There are always diamonds, pearls and all that "stuff", but this list stays away from fine jewelry, expensive cars, and clothes (it can be tricky buying the right size). So without further delay, here it is...I hope you enjoy!

1. Bags and Purses - All gals can use more than one purse or handbag...think of one that your gal may not buy herself, or maybe she could really use one...there is always a nice Coach bag (you can kind some good deals at their outlet stores!) and I love the Vera Bradley bags (or any type of quilted bag). I received one of these for Christmas and use it as a purse/diaper bag - it is great! Don't want to spend too much money? Look for a fun wallet that she would use!

2. Jewelry - Ok, I know I was staying away from diamonds and pearls in this list, but inexpensive jewelry is fun and most gals love. Sometimes you buy your gal a nice diamond necklace and she never wears it because she says it is too fancy for everyday. So save yourself a few dollars and look for fun, inexpensive (but nice) jewelry. One of my favorite for this is Brighton Jewelry...it is nice, silver jewelry in fun designs that people of any age can wear. You can also find some fun stuff at Department stores...look for a nice necklace with colors your gal likes - and maybe you will find some matching earrings if you want too!

3. Sunglasses - this is another accessory that most gals love, and you can always have more than one pair. Try to take note to see what kind of glasses your gal likes - big round ones, glamour ones...maybe there is a celebrity that she likes who has some fun sunglasses. Then head to the store (sunglass hut has a great selection) and see what you can find...

4. MP3 Player- Everyone likes something with their Own music...whether it be a good ol' Ipod or anything that will hold a few songs your gal likes and she can listen to at home, in the car, while running, wherever she wants. Want to impress her a little more? Have some songs already downloaded on it when you give it to her so it is ready to go...she will love it! Too many people get these and it takes them days if not weeks to finally get some music downloaded!

5. Camera- digital cameras are great! There is quite a range of cameras you can get, so depending on how serious of a photo taker your gal is...there is everything from the fancy SLR cameras to an inexpensive single shot camera. Something in the middle is probably the best way to go if you are not sure...I suggest a camera small enough that will fit in her purse that takes still photos and short videos...she can carry it everywhere she goes and capture all her fun moments! I got a Sony Cybershot from my hubby and love it - I take it everywhere I go in my purse and have been able to take more pictures than I ever did before...and he got one in pink for me!

6. GPS - This may not be something that your gal puts on her wish list, but probably because she never thought of it...a GPS is great...she will be able to find all the nearby shopping areas without getting lost, make it to her friends house without even asking for directions, and find a new and fun place to have lunch! Portable GPS' do so much and are easy to use, so even if you think your gal might not like one because it is an electronic...I say give it a try. Before you give it to her, open it up and learn how to use it yourself. Then enter a few of her favorite places to go so you can show her how to use it. Why not enter a place in the GPS to take her to dinner and then after she opens it hop in the car and tell her you are going to show her how to use it...and take her to dinner!

7. Day at the Spa- Usually gift certificates are a no-no when you are looking to give something personal, but I think a Day at the Spa is an exception. Your gal will love a day of pampering and relaxation. Find a local day spa, or maybe one you know she has already been to (and likes) and see what kind of packages they have - she will be happy with anything from a manicure or pedicure to a full day at the Spa. Want to be a little bit more romantic? Why not buy a Massage Foot Bath or Paraffin Wax Bath and try to give her a pedicure yourself!

8. Night out on the Town - most guys are not that great at making plans...I know they try, but it seems from my experience that the gals do most of the planning if they really want to do something Friday or Saturday night. So it would make a great gift if you had a full night planned - give her some tickets to a play, concert or even a movie followed by a new place to take her to dinner. Have it all planned out - time line, reservations the whole bit and she will be very impressed!

9. Thrill Seeking Experience - if your gal is adventurous and enjoys trying new things, why not give her an experience that she would never otherwise do...bungee jumping, small airplane ride, hot air balloon ride...something you think she would love or maybe there is something she has talked about - saw on TV or an ad and said "that looks like that could be fun!".

10. Whatever she asks for! - Ok, this may seem silly, but if your gal asks for something, or you are out shopping and she says that she would really like something take note and buy it for her! You will not only be guaranteed something that she likes, but you will get extra brownie points for listening to her when you were shopping! I mentioned to my husband one day in the kitchen that I wanted a nice chopping knife (I love cooking and spend a lot of time in the kitchen)...our knives were okay, but I always watch the cooking shows where they have a great knife and can cut things so fast and easily. A month later for my birthday he gave me a great knive! He thought it was kind of a boring gift, but I said no...it is what I wanted and I love it...and I was impressed he was listening to me in the kitchen that day!

 Well, there you have it - the top 10 gifts for gals...I hope you find this list helpful and next time you are in need of a gift for your gal think back to this list and surprise her with something she would never imagine you getting her, but something she will love...have fun shopping (do guys have fun shopping?!)!
