The Top 10 Tips You Just Cannot Ignore In Weightloss!

Tip # 1: When you feel the first pangs of hunger make no attempt to reach out for some sugary carb-loaded snack. Instead get yourself a glass of refreshing cold water. This will suppress your hunger and most often it was just a sign of the body needing water and not hunger anyway!

Tip # 2: Stop eating when you feel about 80% full at mealtimes. The brain takes about 20 minutes to realize glucose is on the way and thus tip helps you to control serving size and still eat well.

Tip # 3: Eat loads of fresh fruits between meals and also midway between meals so that the cravings for sugar diminishes.

Tip $ 4: Everyone loves to indulge in foods loaded with sugars like desserts. Regulate your intake by taking only one or two servings and still enjoy it.

Tip # 5: Eat lots of fresh vegetables and salads with every meal. When taking a serving avoid mixing proteins (meats) with carbs (bread and potatoes).

Tip # 6: Keep the consumption of animal proteins to no more than 4-5 servings per week. Eat more vegetarian foods throughout the week.

Tip # 7: Substitute animal proteins with vegetable proteins like lentils, dry beans and peas. You can get delicious recipes with these leguminous proteins.

Tip # 8: Avoid drinking liquids with meals. Drink a glass of clean water 10 minutes before meals to quench thirst. Stay away from sodas and juices. This keeps the digestive juices flowing undiluted and more efficient at digesting the foods.

Tip # 9: Do not wait till you are actually starving to eat. Try to consume fruits and vegetables between meals to reduce the effects of starvation-induced binges at eating time. Drink lots of fresh water between meals to cut down any cravings.

Tip # 10: The one thing that you can binge upon is vegetables! Have at least 5-7 servings of raw or lightly steamed vegetables per day.

And did I forget to mention? Never skip breakfast. Most people rush to work or school skipping breakfast and this only makes one to binge at lunch time! The brain needs glucose for fuel and starvation overnight makes the brain go weak! Introduce these tips gradually into your lifestyle. This helps you to stick with the tips and not abandon them! And give yourself time to adapt to these changes.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay healthy, lean and FIT.
