The Employment Projections for Fort Myers are similar, although Registered Nurses appear much higher on the list, at Number 3. Jobs have declined somewhat in Fort Myers as well as in Naples during the summer of 2009, partially owing to seasonal changes, but as of the end of Sptember 2009, over 4,000 jobs were listed for the Fort Myers and Naples area combined, covering about 25 miles of territory on around I-75 to the north.
