The Nintendo Wii hit the shops in the UK with a bang and has literally transformed the games console market. This Christmas the Wii is sold out in almost every shop with only a few exceptions. I have only found one place to get a real view of where you can buy a Nintendo Wii. But I think the games are a little easier to come by, however check your UK price comparison website for more details.

We can now see that the Nintendo DS Lite is going the same way as the Wii and I think it will be the second most wanted Christmas present this year. 1. Big Brain Academy - This game tests the limits of your mental capacity, with their homepage you can register and compare your results with the rest of the Wii community.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - When guiding Link, the main character around the Twilight zone you will notice that he turns into a Wolf. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck you help Link fight evil characters and rescue the Princess.
3. Excite Truck - This game uses the Wii Remote entirely. It starts off with some training courses then the single and multiplyer mode is activiated.
4. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption - This games uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to control Samus who is a bounty hunter helping the federation to fight space pirates.
5. Mario Party 8 - This game represents a virtual board game which allows you to have 8 real players. also there are mini games which allow you to mix up the game aswell.
6. Wii Play - this package is a collection of Wii mini games such as the old favourite 'Duck Hunt', 'Table Tennis' and a few others.
7. Rayman Raving Rabbids - This game has a story mode and a score mode that aims to make the best use of the Wii Remote. As a launch title for the Nintendo Wii it is very popular.
8. Super Mario Galaxy - This game sees Mario flying around space, jumping from planet to planet collecting things that give you more points. Gravity plays a big part in this game as it allows Mario to fly effortlessly around objects but keeps him on planets when necessary.
9. Wii Chess - This classic has been ported to the wii and as you would expect uses the latest chess engine that was ranked 3rd in the world. This is a true mind trainer.
10. WarioWare: Smooth Moves - This gsme uses the Wii controls to aid the user in making moves of objects and animals such as an elephant. It is made of many micro games that are carried out in quick succession.
