The Top 10
- Paul Oakenfold - Mr. O brings an energetic style which most people recognize when they listen to "Ready, Stead, Go" one of his more popular tracks. You may also recognize this House master from the Swordfish soundtrack which he put together.
- DJ Icey - This guy got things poppin' in Florida back in the 90's. His fresh breakbeat style is a real treat to enjoy. Whether it's radio cuts or club hits, DJ Icey has something to make you move.
- Fatboy Slim - Regardless of the sub-genre, Fatboy Slim can hold his own. Praise You and Right Here, Right Now are a couple of his top tracks. Slim's work has been featured on Moulin Rouge, Legally Blond, and Bruce Almighty.
- Daft Punk - Seriously, they have to be on the Top 10 list! They have many memorable tracks including Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger which was recently remade by Kanye West. Discovery is probably their best album.
- DJ Trashy - Like the movie Sixth Sense? Then you'll love Trash-o-ween which features the boys voice, it's an amazing track. Another favorite track is Check This Out, I get so pumped up I have to start moving! Other than dancing, Trashy's music is great for working out or driving.
- GiGi D'Agostino - Odd name. Great music. This Italian DJ helped to pioneer Mediterranean progressive house. If you've ever heard a track it'd probably be I'll Fly With You. It's a classic club hit...such a classic in fact that I heard at a club in Portland, OR a couple weeks ago.
- Sash! - One of my first experiences in this genre was Sash! This artists debut album It's My Life (1997) is a must have for parties. He became one of best-selling artists in 1997 with an amazingly fresh take on Euro-house.
- DJ Baby Anne - When it comes to skills on the turntables, this woman can tear it up! She's a student of DJ Icey with a unique style. Like Icey, she dominates the Florida scene.
- DJ Mystik - Straight outta California, Tony Tran (aka DJ Mystik) will blow your mind with his flawless mixes! He's also a co-founder of the group Hypnotika. Unfortunatley, Mystik doesn't do many shows anymore.
- DJ Tiesto - As the first DJ to sell out a 25,000 person stadium by himself, Tiesto is a name to be respected. His skill is amazing and the music he creates is truly unique. Tiesto has even played live at the Olympic Games in Athens. You won't be dissapointed, in fact, you should go look his music up right now!
