Top 3 CPA Networks
81
CPA is the hottest buzz word in the "Make Money Online" or "Make Money at Home" niche. There seems to be hundreds of CPA networks out there. I have not tried them all. I have taken 2 courses on CPA to date. From those courses I joined their recommended networks.
Of all the CPA networks I've joined I think 3 of them stand out. Those networks are:
- NeverBlue
- MaxBounty
- ClickBooth
Join the CPA networks
- Join NeverBlue
NeverBlue has the best interface hands down. The Affiliate Managers I've had have been the most helpful. - Join MaxBounty
MaxBounty pays better than NeverBlue and has better reporting. My affiliate manager at MaxBounty has been helpful but not quite as aggressive about providing help as my NeverBlue AM. - Join ClickBooth
ClickBooth's claim to fame is a high sense of ethics. It has good payouts and exclusive offers. My ClickBooth AM has been helpful but there are a lot of restrictions on the offers newbies are allowed to promote.
#1 CPA Network: NeverBlue
As far as I'm concerned NeverBlue is the best network for the newbie. The interface is far superior to the other CPA networks. New offers are shown on the home page in an easy to see manner. NeverBlue provides the EPC and overal revenue of each CPA offer on their network. NeverBlue was the easiest CPA network to get approval for and has been the most helpful so far. (Read most willing to helpfully and quickly answer stupid newbie questions.)
Pros:
- First and Fastest Network to Approve Me
- Best Interface
- Most Helpful Affiliate Manager
Cons:
- The payout isn't as good as some other networks
- The number of offers seems to be a little smaller than other networks (although I've never found this to limit me)
#2 CPA Network: MaxBounty
Many of the offers on NeverBlue are offered on MaxBounty. When they are the MaxBounty payout is usually better. (However, I have been able to negotiate a higher payout from my Neverblue AM.) I like the interface at MaxBounty better than every other CPA network (except NeverBlue).
You may be asking yourself why I focus on the interface so much. Well the reason is simple, the better the interface the faster I find good offers to promote. The faster I find a good CPA offer, the faster I can start making money.
Pros:
- Helpful Affiliate Managers
- Best Reporting with Time Stamps
- Typically Better Payouts than NeverBlue
Cons:
- Interface
- Some promotion restrictions don't seem to spelled out so more need to talk to AM about potential offers
#3 CPA Network: ClickBooth
What has impressed me most about ClickBooth is their straight-forward acknowledgement of the lack of ethics among many CPA offer promoters. They don't stand for it and they have a 1 strike and you're out policy for violations.
ClickBooth is the only CPA network I know of to have banned the use of flogs (fake blogs) - the single most effective sales page for weight loss and acne offers. That takes some guts. Other networks haven't even mentioned it yet.
Flogs
If you aren't familiar with flogs they are fake blog entries telling an entirely fictional tale to convince the visitor to sign up for a free trial of some weight loss or skin care product. There is some talk of Google slapping these sites and the US governement looking to go after the site owners. They are effective but unethical.
ClickBooth Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Helpful Affiliate Managers
- They advertise the best payouts but they are the exclusive network of many advertisers so comparisons are difficult (I hope to do a comparison by the numbers in the future)
- Leading the industry in Ethics (they've already banned flogs - Fake Blog Reviews)
- More exclusive offers (means less competition & better payout)
Cons:
- A lot of offers are blocked to newbies - that said, I've asked my AM for approval and never had a problem getting it
- The interface is a pain (and it is the most common interface among CPA networks)
Tips for Getting Approved
Every network worth anything requires you to go through an approval process. This isn't usually that difficult. All of the networks will ask for a website name. I had my own website when I applied which had nothing to do with promoting anything in the CPA networks. I was approved by all 3.
I believe, but don't know, that promoting CPA offers through HubPages is good enough. Typically they will want to hear some form of a plan for how you intend to promote their offers. At the time I was approved my primary (really only) form of promotion was via Google AdWords not my website. Don't lie but if you intend to promote through AdWords then tell the CPA networks that PPC is how you intend to make money. Article Marketing also appears to be a perfectly valid means of promotion as well.
NeverBlue was the friendliest about approving me and I suggest starting with them. Then MaxBounty then ClickBooth. When I joined ClickBooth they required a quiz to demonstrate some understanding of how to make money with these CPA offers.
Finally, if you really want to get into the network call them within a day or two of applying. A phone call works wonders.
