Sightseeing Does Not Have to Be Expensive

When people are traveling, most people tend to look up the sights that everyone else says you have to see when you visit. Most of these sights either cost a fortune or are so overly crowded that they become unejoyable. Families tend to stay away from these places due to the high costs or overly crowded locations.

Seattle has some unique places that should be visited other than the Space Needle and the Pike Place Market.

1. Ballard Locks - Ballard, WA

The Ballard Locks offers a good time for everyone that goes to see it. There are the gardens as you enter into the Locks that offer some beautiful scenery. You will than come to the part of the locks where they raise and lower boats passing between Lake Washington and Lake Union. Once you finally cross over all of these you will be walking across a dam where you might catch a glimpse of fish jumping or even seals hanging around waiting on fish. After you pass over the dam, you will begin walking down to the fish ladder where you can view the fish similar to an aquarium as the fish climb up the ladder.
