Top 5 Infamous People of the Year
775. Reverend Jeremiah Wright
Wright retired just months ago as the Senior Pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Segments from his sermons cause quite a headache for Democractice Presidential nominee Barack Obama, a member of Wright's congregation, especially a highly publicized segment that included Wright emphatically stating "God damn America." Wright rode his 30 seconds of fame for all it was worth delivering speeches and statements left and right. He felt the media attention placed on him was an attack on him as well as on the black church in general. After continuing to support Wright through much of the controversy, on April 29th, 2008, Obama finally cut ties with the pastor, who officiated his marriage to wife Michelle, and baptism of his 2 daughters.

3. Roger Clemens
The right-handed pitcher played MLB for 24 seasons, for the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and Houston Astros. He is one of 4 pitchers to have delivered over 4,000 career strike-outs. Already controversial from his tendency to throw close to hitters and his outspoken, sometimes racially insensitive, comments, Clemens was also accused of steroid usage, first in Jose Conseco's book, Juiced, and then in the Mitchell Report on steroid use in baseball. His name was mentioned in the Mitchell Report 82 times. Yankees trainer Brian McNamee admitted in the report that he had injected Clemens with Winstrol during three different seasons. Clemens denies these accusations and says his success in baseball is due to hard work. He was investigated for lying under oath before a Congressional committee investigating the drug use. The case is currently being handled by the FBI.
2. Michael Vick
NFL quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, Michael Vick, is currently on suspension. In 2007, a U.S. federal district court convicted him and several co-defendants of criminal conspiracy resulting from felonious dog fighting and sentenced him to serve a 23 month prison sentence. He is being held in the United States Penitentiary at Leavenworth, KS. Vick is also under indictment for two related Virginia state felony charges for his role in the dogfighting ring and related gambling activity. His state trial has now been delayed until he is released from federal prison, and he faces a maximum 10 year state prison term if convicted on both counts.
1. Britney Spears
In and out of court and rehab, Brit can't stay out of the Tabloids. After shaving her head completely bald last February, Spears displayed other strange and eratic behavior such as attacking a paparazzi with an umbrella. The custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline has been in limbo over the past year. She was ordered to undergo random drug and alcohol testings and attend parenting counseling, and managed to maintain shared custody over Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. Just days after the court's ruling, Spears was charged with a misdemeanor hit and run and driving without a license. If convicted she could face a year in jail. As a result, on October 1st, 2007, Spears lost custody of her children completely besides monitored visits. A month later, after a disastrous lip-synching demonstration at the MTV Music Video Awards, Brit released her "comeback" album Blackout. Only one song was released from the album, Gimme More, which reached #3 on the Billboard Charts. On January 3rd, 2008, police were called to Spear's home when she would not reliquinsh the two children to Federline after a visit. She appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance thought blood tests resulted negative. On January 31st, her father was granted temporary control over all of her assets after much encouragement by Britney's psychiastrist. It is speculated that Spears has bipolar disorder. Little by little, she has regained custody rights, and can now have supervised sleepovers with her children.

Great list!
Man, this is ridiculous. These people just don't look after their children, and you forget about the ones that killed millions of people. What about Hitler, Mao, Stallin, Bush, etc. Come on, you have to change it right now! good luck!
