1. The Blob – scary because it has no face, no eyes to stare down, no arms to strangle you with, no legs to run after you with, it is just a huge mass of cellulite for all we know that completely eats right through your body. Gross!

2. Vampires – scary because they only come out at night (supposedly) when humans are the most vulnerable. They are kind of hot because they go right for the neck, but their kiss is the deadliest of any fictional horror creature. They will strip you of your life in mere minutes and throw you away when they are done with you, much like that ex you still think about from time to time.

3. Zombies – scary because they are like those people who go door-to-door trying to convert you to their religion, only they are much more aggressive about making you one of them. They are generally slow-moving, but in some scenarios are quite fast and clever, leaving you even more susceptible to turn into one of them. The good thing about zombies is if they do manage to bite you, you turn into one of them. You may end up with more friends than when you started.

4. Werewolf – scary because they are just as human as you until a full moon hits – then it doesn’t matter if they are your brother, or your father, or your mailman – you are screwed. They tend to howl at the moon, so at least you know they are coming for you. They like to recruit members in the same way zombies do, but are less proactive about the werewolf religion.

5. Bigfoot – scary because they are fully covered in hair, are reputed to smell bad, and grunt a lot. Of course, they are not to be mistaken for your grandfather or other male relative at a campout. You can generally avoid Bigfoot if you stay out of the woods, but they do tend to keep in touch with vampires on Facebook, so beware!
