Top 5 Slices of Pizza
67Top 5 Slices of Pizza
I love pizza. Who doesn't? It is delicious in all its cheesy sauciness. Throughout my travels, I have been able to sample many different pizza joints to try and find the perfect slice of Pizza. I have compiled a countdown of my top five favorite pizza places of all time.
5. Z Pizza, Billings, MT -Z Pizza is a nice little gourmet pizza shop located in Billings, MT. Their plain cheese pizza needs some tweaking, however if you are looking for an extraordinary slice of pizza, this is the place to go! They have mixed and matched ingredients in every which way to come up with some completely original types of pizza. Delicious and affordable. Be sure to go if you are ever in the area.
4. Bob's Pizza, Nashua, NH - Bob's Pizza serves up large slices of deliciously greasy pizza. Their pies are large and the spice they use to kick up the flavor in their sauce is to die for. The crust is thick enough to eat as a bonus bread stick. This place has been in business for as long as I can remember, which goes to show that a good slice of pizza can carry you a long way!
3. Bogart's, Red Lodge, MT - Bogart's is not a typical pizza joint. It is really a sit down restaurant with a full menu, but with such appetizing sounding pizzas, it was hard to resist ordering one. I decided on the Jerk Chicken Pizza, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. It bursted with flavor with each bite I took. The tomato chunks on the pizza were so good, I had to ask the waitress to find out what kind they were (Roma), and I've been buying them ever since! So if you are driving over Beartooth Mountain, there is nothing better than Bogart's when you reach the bottom.
2. Ramunto's Pizza, Rutland, VT - I just discovered this place the other day. Having just moved to the area and striking out on the first two pizza's I tried, Ramunto's was an absolute diamond in the rough. They serve by the slice, and their slices are huge! They too, have a variety of choices at an affordable price. The pizza is similar to that of Bob's, but their sauce is simply unmatched. They have been voted the best pizza in Rutland for the past two years, and I don't know why that would change. Their food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Don't forget to try the garlic knots while you are there!
1. Romano's Pizza, Litchfield, NH - My all time favorite pizza is from my hometown of Litchfield, NH. The town is small and doesn't have much. Second only to a mini-golf course, Romano's puts Litchfield on the map. Pizza places have come and gone, but Romano's has stayed strong and upgraded along the way. The pizza is and always has been delicious. Perfecting a doughy crust, Romano's perfect blend of cheese and sauce is something not to be missed. If you're not in the mood for pizza, try their subs. I rate them higher than the pies!

Best pizza I ever had was in Switzerland at a small local pizzeria, cooked in an old brick oven,,,yummmmm G-Ma :O) Hugs
Hey man if youever in trenton NJ you should go to a place called delorenzo's. You might have to wait an hour in line to get a pizza but it is nationally reconized. Rated one of the best in America by numerous food critics and was shown on Food Network.
Wait...aren't we all forgetting Uno's Pizzeria, Lou Manati's and Giodarnos? The famous deep dish pizzas? Do not forget NYC's original brick oven pizza. Chicago and NYC are the it-spots for all pizza.
eh...chains don't get any consideration from me. I'm not a fan of any of the places you just named! Sorry!
mmmm.... Romano's.
Slices, Salt Lake, UT -- A good friend of mine took us here when we were driving through on a road trip. They had the best BBQ Chicken pizza evar! We ordered two giant 26 inchers and scarf this awesome pizza down.
Mackenzie River, Billings MT -- I'm suprized Z Pizza made the list over good ol MR, bud. It's pretty fricken tasty. I'm not a huge fan of Z, though.
