You can entertain kids at birthday parties and charge a set fee. Another way to make money as a clown is to set up a face painting table at a local festival or fair. It is easy to learn face painting and kids love it! You could do the same for water balloon yo-yos or animal balloons. Walking around dressed as a clown is fun and is a great way to promote your business. You can rent a clown outfit at a local shop or have someone make one for you.

3.) Teens looking to earn extra cash can sell things on eBay. What can you sell? Sell your old CD’s, Video Games, Clothes, etc on eBay. If you have a computer and a digital camera you can sell on eBay. Sign up for an account – it’s free (you might need to get your parents to help – its an age thing).

Another way to make a few dollars is to offer a dog washing service. You can wash dogs at the owners place or yours. All that you need is a dog shampoo, water and some towels. You will also need to be careful as some dogs do not like water - something to ask the owner about. Scoop Poop – It’s a crappy job but you can earn big bucks doing it. Dogs are wonderful creatures – man’s best friend. Over the years humans have bred hundreds of new breeds of dogs but the one I’m waiting for has eluded us – the dog that doesn’t go to the bathroom, ever.

Until that day dog owners will have to clean up after their animals or get someone else to do it. That’s where you come in. Grab your pooper scooper (or a shovel) and plastic bags and find a dog owner in your neighborhood. See if they would like their yard cleaned. You should earn $25.00 (or more) to clean one yard. Not bad money for an hour’s work – and if you do it right you can do it week after week and build up a list of regular clients.

If you are going to wash cars you can do it at the person’s house or at a public place. Many restaurants will allow groups to hold car washes to raise money. Unfortunately, most will way no to a couple of buds trying to make extra cash. Don’t let this stop you – go door-to-door and wash cars in people’s driveways. It works.

If you like paying attention to detail then you can detail clean the interiors of cars. This is an art. If you have done this to your car and it looked good sell your service to others. A good car detailing should earn you anywhere from $25 - $75 depending on what you do.

If you are really motivated and have the skill you can tint car windows. It’s not difficult but it does take patience and knowledge. You can earn $100 a car for your few hours work. Once word gets out about your skill expect others to ask for your services
