Top 7 methods To get Cheap Website Traffic

I know the title says 5 methods, so i trow in 2 more, that also work great.

There is one and only strict rule in creating an income from your website: A constant flow of website traffic. If no one attends your site, it hardly gets a chance of rendering an income. A lot of sites have attempted and flunked in doing so, and these flunks results to the sites death. It requires money to keep a money yielding site; it also takes money to make money.

Only, it does not call for a whole kit and caboodle of cash to render website traffic for your site.

Always questioned how does big hit sites drive traffic to their site? Most of them are spending gobs of money to force the traffic to their sites, investing in a lot of ad campaigns and different sorts of marketing strategies and gimmickries. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to do this if you don’t really have their resources. There are a lot of manners to get affordable website traffic without being forced to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. A lot of people have relied on high cost methods and have finished up losing their shirt over it.

Here I give to you the Top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that may help your site a great deal. Even when you only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to customer ratio it still works particularly when you get a high amount of website traffic.

Exchange Links

This is a indisputable and established method. Seldom would you see a site where there is no link to a different site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with each other so that they could produce more public consciousness about their sites. You will soon see and feel the sudden rush of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major requirement in exchanging links with additional sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common matter so that there is persistence in the supplying of service and information to what interests your target traffic.

Exchanging links also supercharges your chances of acquiring a high ranking in search engine results. It is basic knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inward and outward theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you'll get more traffic in your website without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange and safelists

This is like exchanging links but on a higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or swopping links but only in time because you get to earn credits. You are able to get those credits when viewing others sites, while you spend those credits when someone views your site.

The more you surf for credits, the more credits you can use (go figure) and so you get more visitors, although i have to say that it is very time consuming, and you need a good squeeze page or eye popping website to get the best results with them.

Write and Submit Articles

There are a lot of e-zines and online encyclopaedias in the internet which offers free space for articles to be submitted. If you would like to save costs, you are able to do the articles yourself. There are many freelance authors who are conformable to write for you for a small fee, but to save cash, it is sensible to do those articles yourself.

Compose articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that if they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the matter and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the issue or market your site has.

Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a bit about yourself and your site. If you leave a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more.

Make a Newsletter.

This could sound like a heavy duty because of all the articles you may have to use to make a newsletter but to the contrary, it isn't so. There are a lot of authors and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name included on your newsletter. This will also provide free promoting for them as well. ezinearticles.com is a great resource therefore.

As your newsletter gets distributed, you are able to extend your public awareness and build up an opt-in list that can, on a regular basis visit your site.

If you however have a squeeze page with an optin box and a free ebook or video to give away, traffic exchanges and safelists are incredible methods to build your list, and even the big dog marketers still use them for this.

Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. You are able to share your knowledge and expertise with a lot of online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same topic or niche like your site.

Share your ideas and let them see how well-educated you are with the topic. As you build up your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site, making it a reputable and honorable business that may be patronised and desired by many people.

kind of the same like we hubbers do here on the forums. For the internet marketers among us, the warrior forum is the place to be.
For others i don't know, but it is easy to find, just type in google the keyword+forums, so when you are in a market like swimming gear, look for a forum about swimming. Add a signature and provide a people attracting headline, like: the newest designer swimsuits designed by jean paul gautier, at least, make it something real, people will check your site out. the more active you are in the forum, the more your signature gets spread around, the more links and thus so the more exposure.

Social networking

every body recognizes the power of web2.0 nowadays, so why won't you take part in it? Everyone knows twitter, facebook, myspace, linkedin,.....make a full profile page, instead of some who only type in their name, add your website link to your profile, invite friends or request friendships with people who are in the same niche as you, post targeted ads, replies, tweet and retweet, all of this will increase your friends and followers list, and again, your exposure as well as your website visitors, causse hey, they just became your friends or followers, so they want to know what that website is about.

Social Bookmarking

A lot of people tend to forget the power of social bookmarking sites, there are also a lot of people who think it is just a waste of time, or just to time consuming, well it is not always like that, you can go as far as you want, do you only want to place your site to the biggest networks like Digg.com and stumbleupon, or do you want to ad your site to all 500, (i don't know how many there are).

So here where some tips, hope they can help you out.

Good luck.

The links exchange part is often made by ptc site owners and others, they place each others url's on their websites and drive traffic to each other that way. Often it is a negociated number of ads/clicks to that site.

So when you have a new site, you can ask a website owner, who is also working in your niche, to place a link on your site, and vice versa, it is a win win situation for both website owners.

Better take out the Google Adsense before using traffic exchange, otherwise Google will terminate the Adsense account
